Anna-Joy Hoffman is an accomplished legal, regulatory and business leader with more than two decades of experience spanning healthcare, government, not-for-profit, corporate governance and the arts. She is the Director, Legal & Regulatory Affairs at JOY Surgical ANZ and has served as Director and CEO since 2015, leading the organisation’s growth while overseeing legal, governance and strategic functions.
Alongside her executive career, Anna-Joy is a passionate advocate for the performing arts and community leadership. She has served on the Board of the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic since 2022 and currently holds the position of President, guiding the organisation’s governance, fundraising and strategic direction in support of Melbourne’s vibrant cultural sector.
Anna-Joy held senior legal and policy roles with the Victorian Department of Health, Australian Red Cross, Engenco Limited, Live Performance Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and is currently a Director of JOY Surgical. Her diverse background combines legal expertise, public policy, regulatory affairs and board governance, enabling her to lead complex organisations with integrity and vision.
