Associate Professor Leanne Raven FAICD has been acknowledged for her innovation in the not-for-profit sector as the winner of the 2013 Telstra Businesswomen’s Award in Victoria for Business Innovation. Currently, the CEO of Crohn’s & Colitis Australia she has had an executive career leading change and transformative growth in not-for-profit organisations in health, disability and community sectors. She has been a non-executive director of 16 companies and chair of 4 including Eastern Melbourne Medicare Local, Australian Nursing Council, ENBIS Pty Ltd and ISPID, the International Society for the study and Prevention of Infant Death.

As a market-driven CEO Leanne enjoys building purpose and data driven companies that are making a difference in our lives and communities. She has qualifications in Science, Business Management, Nursing, Education, Data Science and Company directorship. In 2014 she was honoured to be appointed as an adjunct Associate Professor with the University of the Sunshine Coast Queensland, Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering.

Leanne’s son Elliot graduated from Port Phillip Specialist School in 2017 and she has volunteered in the disability sector for many years. She understands the importance of a quality education for children with special needs and would like to see every child supported to live the best life they can.

Leanne has been a board member since May 2019.
